Happy Monday Everybody! Here's a little motivation for you on this chilly Monday:

A few things to note:

• Geometry - We will have a Test on Wednesday over Notebook PG 63-78.  Don't forget your crossword puzzle and word walls need to be done on test day!!  
• Algebra II - We will have a factoring quiz on Friday over Notebook PG 70-78)
• Calculus - We will have a quiz on Tuesday when we get back from break over Notebook PG 65-72).

I will be around for extra help this week:

• Before school Tuesday,Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (7:40ish-7:55)
• During lunch every day except Friday
• After school (2:45-4:00) Wednesday and Thursday

Happy Veterans Day!

Another crazy week here we come!  I'm starting to wonder if any week will be "normal".  All the changes keep you on your toes I guess.  So I won't see you tomorrow (Tuesday) because of Veterans Day, but I would like to say how much I was touched by the support shown to our Veterans during our Veterans Day Chapel on Thursday.  So thank you to each and every one of you and have a wonderful day off. 

A few things to note:

• Geometry - We will have a quiz on Wednesday over Notebook PG 69-72.  
• Calculus - We have Part 1 (Non-Caluclator) of our Derivatives Test today and Part 2 (Calculator) tomorrow.
• 2nd Period - Your notebook turn in will be on Wednesday instead of Tuesday (unless you want to come up on your day off and turn in your notebook ;-) )

November Mathematician Spotlight

Attention all students!
Most of you have probably seen the Mathematician Spotlight on the board in my room.  Each month I will post a famous mathematician and a quote by that mathematician.  If you should choose to complete this assignment, the requirements are listed below.

Here where you should post your three facts (in addition to writing them on the paper with your paragraph).

 Due by the end of November.

Algebra II Unit 3 Vocab

End of 1st Quarter!

The end of the 1st Quarter is here! Where did the time go?!
A few things to note:

• Geometry - We will have a quiz on Wednesday over Notebook PG 64-67
• Calculus - We will have a quiz on Wednesday over Notebook PG 45-62 and a test at the beginning of next week.
• There is a new Mathematician Spotlight for this month - Blaise Pascal
• All corrections and retakes (assignments and assessments) must be completed in extra help and the deadline is always the test over the material.
• Any tests/quizzes that you were absent for must be completed in extra help.  If not completed by Wednesday, they will be entered in as zeros for 1st Quarter Progress Reports.
